Christmas is around the corner, so most of you must have shopped for Christmas gifts. However, if you need some last-minute gifts for a Kindle owner, this is a good list of gifts you might consider to start with.

A new Kindle

Kindles last for a long time. I’m personally on my first Kindle — a first generation Paperwhite — and I’ve been using it for a couple of years. They aren’t something you need to replace every year or two. If you already have a Kindle, there’s almost no reason to buy a new one yourself… which make it such a great gift to buy someone else. The latest version, the Kindle Oasis looks incredible but, at almost $300, it’s ludicrously expensive. Still, there are reasons to consider buying a Kindle Oasis even at that grand price.

You have the option to email it directly to them or get the download code sent to your own email address so you can print it off and give it to them on Christmas day.

A Luxury Kindle Case

If you don’t want to stretch to a new Kindle, a luxury case can make reading more comfortable and give things a fresh, almost book-like feel.

Designed by Amazon to be the lightest and thinnest protective cover for Kindle Paperwhite (will not fit Kindle or Kindle Touch)

I’m a big fan of Amazon’s genuine leather case for Paperwhite — it’s one of the nicest cases going. $40 is admittedly quite a lot of money to spend on a case for a $120 device, but it’s well worth the premium. Over a few months, this case develops its own unique look and feel, just like any other leather goods. This, it becomes a truly personal gift.

Mosiso-Retro Smart Case for Kindle PaperwhiteAnother great case for Kindle Paperwhite is Mosiso Retro Smart Case for Kindle Paperwhite. This case is slim and has a classic look and feel of an old book. It’s made from durable PU leather with soft interior to prevent scratches and automatically wakes the device when opened.

I have been thinking about buying a Kindle for a while now but wasn’t sure exactly how they worked. Thank you for all the helpful information with you 7 tips post. Can you change the font size on any Kindle? The one I can afford only has a 6″ screen which is pretty small for my eyes and would need large font.

      Gretchen,

I have a 6″ Kindle Paperwhite, and I am totally satisfied with it. You can alter the font size as well as the margins and the spacing to suit you. What I like about Kindle eReaders (as well as the various apps) is that the content is formatted to suit the screen you are reading on.

Hi, Marios. I purchased a Kindle Paperwhite for my partner a few years ago and he loves it. And it is still working like brand new. We also love how the screen is still readable on a bright and sunny day. It also does not tire or hurt the eyes when reading it under low light conditions like before bed at night. It is a good buy.

      True, Cindy, it is.

I bought mine a couple of years ago, and I am using it for daily reading. Portable, can be used day and night without any problems, can carry hundreds of books, easy on your eyes and does not consume phone or tablet energy at all 🙂
