For some reason my eyes went kind of buggy reading your page. Do you think you can make a little more space between sentences? Maybe you can do it with a spacing tool of just manually break them up a bit more.

You could even add a couple more pictures in the upper portion of your article that would break it up a bit more.

Very informative though my wife wants a new book reader and we’ll have to look into this one.

Hi Matofarides, I like your article but the wording really strain my eyes.. probably the font you can make it clearer. Nowadays people seldom would like to read physical books at home which smartphone can do anything and download anything to read. So E-book is really a great thing for people to have cup of coffee and relax yourself and have some reading. I’m loving on it relaxing.. I suggest you can add more pictures into it too.

      Thank you Jason!

I will probably chagne the spacing of the paragrahs a little, so that It can be more readable.

Yeah, eBooks are a great way to read. Last night I started with the intention to read for a few minutes, and I ended reading for an hour and a half! And all of that because of the feature that states how much time you need to read the next chapter – based on your reading speed 🙂

I you need anything else to know, please let me know!

What a great improvement to an already awesome product. I have been waiting for a water proof Kindle and it’s finally here. The thing I love most about the Kindle is the lack of glare. I spend a lot of time reading by the pool, so I have always been concerned about water. I have been hoping for a water proof device for a long time, actually been holding out on a new one. My Kindle is probably about 5 years old and has been used a lot. I also really like that the Oasis has a larger screen.
Although not cheap, I will be putting my pre-order in soon. Thank you for this review, it’s very thorough.

      Hey there,

Glad you liked the review – and the product. Being waterproof in conjunction with the ability to play audiobooks makes it a great companion for avid readers. This would be great with Amazon Prime or Kindle Unlimited.

I’m not sure if it would suit me though. I like to listen to audiobooks in the car with the mobile app, and read at home using a Kindle. I’d rather keep my Paperwhite and buy a Kindle Fire instead.

Super cool that this is also Audiobook friendly, I’ve avoided Kindle in the past in favour of my smartphone and iPad for this reason.

Love that this version is larger too!

This Oasis very interesting. I have been using my Paperwhite for some time but it has taken a few knocks and the screen is slightly dented. I like the fact that this is waterproof but the biggest plus for me is being able to switch from eReader to audiobook. I’m trying to make life a bit simpler so anything that is an all-in-one is a bonus for me. Thanks for posting.

      Oliver,

Yeah, being able to switch from Book to Audiobook and vice-versa (on the same device) is a great feature. I’m looking forward to it!

I always loved the idea of an ebook reader and only recently did i realise that kindle is owned by Amazon!
The kindle oasis sure looks really promising, and i’m really excited that they have gone ahead to build in waterproofing and make it anti-glare which was what my sister complained about her kindle!
The only thing stopping me from instantly buying this is the price. It certainly isn’t cheap for a device that’s purely meant to read books, but i’ll still consider!

      Hey there!

      Thanks for the comment 🙂

The Oasis is the most expensive option in the Kindle line. There are cheaper options, such as the Kindle, the Paperwhite (which is my choice), the Voyage. You can check the whole line here
