Today, I am starting a collaboration with Reviewsbee, a well-known reviews site. Unlike other review sites, they base their reviews and ratings on an algorithm which collects and ranks all the expert and consumer reviews existing in the most reputable sources.
The algorithm
The platform collects reviews of the products from various categories and creates top-10 lists.
These are the 5 factors are included in their research:
a. Consumer Popularity Score,
b. Consumer Complaints,
c.Expert Popularity Score,
d. Expert Ratings,
e.Consumer Complaints.
So, according to their research here are the best eΒook readers available at the moment. Their list contains both eΒook readers and tablets. For this first part, I will display only the eΒook readers. The tablets will follow in a next post.

This matches what I want find. I agree that Kindle Paperwhite 3G is the best e-reader at this moment. Actually Kindle is for reading books and not for online games or other apps. Paperwhite version has the best screen for reading purpose. Besides, as ebook files won’t need much space and the files are small in nature, 3G version is good enough for instant download or update on reading progress.
Thanks for this article. I will buy the Kindle Paperwhite 3G for my daughters.

Hey there!
I have a Kindle Paperwhite myself and I totally agree that this is a whole different experience, reading on a Kindle. No light needed at night (especially for me, a night-owl), ability to buy instantly, ability to change font-size-spacing, look up a word I don’t know and many more…
Ethan says
I have always been a fan of the Kindel Paperwhite. I wouldn’t be able to read books on an ereader if it weren’t for the paperwhite technology. Concentrating on something like a book for a long period of time with a backlight similar to what computers and tablets have is very uncomfortable.

Ethan,
This is true. I bought the Paperwhite for the many advantages it has over tablets or smartphones. The e-ink and backlit technology is one of them. It allows me to read without having to have a light on. Which for me, as a night-owl is a life saver!
I also like the WhisperSync ability – to be able to sync across devices as well as the ability to change the font as well as the font size, and the page layout. Not to mention the “Time left to finish chapter/book” feature.
True, the Kindle is a whole different experience
Hello,
Awesome article about the top 5 ebook readers. Many people are making the switch to e-readers but don’t know where to begin.
I do have to say that I am also in the market for an e-book reader so I will take your article into consideration.
Keep up the good work and I will be a continuing reader!
Thanks,
Shawn
Hi Shawn,
Thanks for the good words 🙂 I will try to update the article as frequently as possible, since eReader technology changes.
You so much for this list of eraters. I am always on the lookout for new ways to read my favorites. This helps me cut back on search time. When I can go to just one website and get all the information that I need on each reader. Thank you so much for this review it is very helpful. I look forward to hearing and reading more from you in the future. Thanks.
Michelle,
Thanks for your kind words. I will do my best to update the review as frequently as possible.
Many thanks for the post Marios.
It just reminded me of the Kindle I have but haven’t used for quite a while as I’ve been travelling a lot less over the past year.
It’s an old school one though, so I’m thinking if anything I should probably upgrade to the Kindle Paperwhite 3G which has a 9/10 ranking.
Thanks again for the reminder.
Best,
Jerry
Jerry,
It’s nice to hear that I took someone’s Kindle from the drawer where it is gathering dust.
I will agree with you that a replacement for your Kindle is a great idea. The species has evolved, and you will find many enhancements.
I’d be glad to answer any questions or clarifications.
Good luck with your reading 🙂
